Slaver’s Exile in Eye of the North is where players can craft Destroyer weapons (currently the only weapons that can be displayed in the Hall of Monuments) and where hero armour upgrades can be made. Using Deldrimor Armor Remnants acquired during the quests in Slaver’s Exile, the armour of your heroes can be upgraded to Deldrimor Armor, and added to your Hall of Monuments.

Slaver’s Exile can be found at the far bottom right of the Verdant Cascades on the Tarnished Coast. Slaver’s Exile as an Elite Dungeon, and to enter, at least one member of your party must have completed the final Eye of the North quest, A Time For Heroes.

Slaver’s Exile contains several NPCs, but the two you’ll want to talk to are Balthor Coalforge and Veth the Storyteller. Balthor Coalforge is a weaponsmith who can craft Destroyer weapons for you. Veth the Storyteller will give out missions in the Elite dungeon.

There are four main dungeons in Slaver’s Exile. As they are all seperate instances, they can all be completed independently - you don’t have to do them all in one big rush. After you’ve completed the first three dungeons, the gates will open to Duncan the Black’s dungeon.

  • Justiciar Thommis’ dungeon features Modniir, Stone Summit, and Wretched Wolves.
  • Selvetarm’s dungeon features Undead, Stone Summit, and Restless Dead.
  • Forgewight’s dungeon features Elementals, Enchanted, Forge Imps, and Stone Summit.
  • Duncan the Black’s dungeon features Restless Dead and Stone Summit.

All dungeons will also spawn random Ritualist spirits as you progress through them. These include Disenchantment, Pain, Recuperation, and Shadow Song. The spirits can be killed, but will respawn after a set time.

After defeating the boss in each dungeon, a chest will spawn, which will drop either a unique item, an onynx gemstone, or a diamond. After defeating Duncan the Black, the final chest will spawn, which will drop 3 items for each player in the party. One of these is a Deldrimor Armor Remnant - the other two will be either a unique item, an oynx gemstone, or a diamond.

The whole Slaver’s Exile complex is pretty tough - but then, as it is Eye of the North’s only Elite dungeon, this is to be expected. Although the risk is great, the rewards you can get are very good, and the whole complex makes a nice extra to battle through once you’ve defeated the Great Destroyer.
