Exploring the dungeons in Eye of the North
One of the other new and exciting features in Eye of the North are dungeons - instances with multiple levels which are linked together. Unlike a normal instance in Guild Wars (ie. an explorable area) dungeon levels stay in the same state when you move between them.
So if you went from Level 1 in a dungeon to Level 2, and then back up to Level 1, you’d find it in the same state as when you left it. This is described as a chained instance, and is a taste of things to come in Guild Wars 2.
Over the next few blog posts we’ll be looking in more detail at the dungeons in Eye of the North. They are a fantastic source of high end goodies and unique items, and because they can be completed again and again, are a good way to boost your Title Tracks and collect rate items.
To make it easy to come back and search for information, we’ll tackle the dungeons alphabetically. The full dungeon list we’ll be exploring is:
- Arachni’s Haunt
- Bloodstone Caves
- Bogroot Growths

- Darkrime Delves
- Fronis Irontoe’s Lair
