Wintersday festivities have now begun!
The game update pushed out to Guild Wars clients yesterday has introduced the Wintersday content, which has now gone live! The major cities in Tyria are now decorated for the season, and new NPCs - with new quests and reward items - have also started making an appearance.
The game update notes state:
Wintersday is here! Kamadan, Lion’s Arch, Droknar’s Forge, and Ascalon City are decorated for the occasion. Over the coming days, holiday activities will begin as special guests arrive to join the festivities. Everything leads up to the big Wintersday celebration on January 1, which will take place every three hours in Lion’s Arch and Kamadan (on the hour in Lion’s Arch and 15 minutes past the hour in Kamadan). Be sure to collect candy cane shards for the big celebration!
Happy Wintersday to all our readers, and a quick reminder that you can subscribe via RSS for faster updates, or get new posts delivered directly to your inbox if you subscribe via email.
