Warrior Elite Skills in Eye of the North
Warriors seem to be very well catered for in Eye of the North, with 2-3 Elite Skills available for each attribute, along with an attribute-less skill.
Axe Mastery
Cleave
If this attack hits, you strike for +10…26 damage.
Cleave can be obtained from:
- Dvalinn Stonebreaker (Drakkar Lake)
Eviscerate
If Eviscerate hits, you strike for +1…25 damage and inflict a Deep Wound, lowering your target’s maximum Health by 20% for 5…17 seconds.
Eviscerate can be obtained from:
- Tenagg Flametroller (Bjora Marches, during Blood Washes Blood)
- Lissah the Packleader (Bjora Marches)
- Gharaz the Glutton (Sacnoth Valley, during Forbidden Fruit)
- Shons the Pretender (Sacnoth Valley)
- Charr Prison Guard (Cathedral of Flames, During Warband of Brothers)
Hammer Mastery
Backbreaker
If Backbreaker hits, you strike for +1…16 damage and your target is knocked down for 4 seconds.
Backbreaker can be obtained from:
- Hodat the Tumbler (Dalada Uplands)
- Any of the ettin bosses in Bloodstone Caves. They do not always carry Backbreaker. Will sometimes spawn with Devastating Hammer.
Earth Shaker
Target foe and all adjacent foes are knocked down. (50% failure chance with Hammer Mastery 4 or less.)
Earth Shaker can be obtained from:
- Jormungand (Drakkar Lake, Varajar Fells)
Forceful Blow
If Forceful Blow hits, you strike for +10…34 damage and your target is Weakened for 5…17 seconds. If it is blocked, you are knocked down.
Forceful Blow can be obtained from:
- Ignus the Eternal (Sacnoth Valley) (during the quest The Smell of Titan in the Morning)
Strength
Dwarven Battle Stance
For 5…10 seconds, you attack 33% faster, and if your hammer attacks hit, your target is interrupted. Dwarven Battle Stance ends if you use a skill.
Dwarven Battle Stance can be obtained from:
- Krak Flamewhip (Jaga Moraine only while Krak’s Cavalry is active.)
- Marln Steelfist (Battledepths only while Attack on Jalis’s Camp is active.)
- Taskmaster Durgon (Vloxen Excavations on Level 1)
Headbutt
Target touched foe takes 40…88 damage. You are Dazed for 5…17 seconds.
Headbutt can be obtained from:
- Molotov Rocktail (Dalada Uplands)
Swordsmanship
Crippling Slash
If this attack hits, target foe is Crippled for 5…13 seconds and begins Bleeding for 10…22 seconds.
Crippling Slash can be obtained from:
- Fenrir (Norrhart Domains)
- Mobrin, Lord of the Marsh (Sparkfly Swamp)
Dragon Slash
If Dragon Slash hits, you strike for +10…34 damage and gain 1…4 strikes of adrenaline.
Dragon Slash can be obtained from:
- Byndliss Flamecrown (Magus Stones)
Hundred Blades
Swing twice at target foe and foes adjacent to your target.
Hundred Blades can be obtained from:

Tactics
Gladiator’s Defense
For 5…10 seconds, you have a 75% chance to block incoming attacks. Whenever you block a melee attack this way, the attacker suffers 5…29 damage.
Gladiator’s Defense can be obtained from:
- Facet of Destruction (Verdant Cascades) (Only during The Cipher of Balthazar)
- Facet of Destruction (Varajar Fells) (Only during The Path to Revelations)
Steady Stance
For 10 seconds, the next time you would be knocked down, you gain 1…3 strikes of adrenaline and 1…6 Energy instead.
Steady Stance can be obtained from:
- Skomay Bonehewer (Magus Stones)
No Attribute
Skull Crack
If it hits, this attack interrupts the target’s current action. If that foe was casting a spell, that foe is Dazed for 10 seconds.
Skull Crack can be obtained from:
- Baglorag Grumblesnort (Norrhart Domains)
- Chieftain Ulgrimar Gnash (Drakkar Lake only during the Quest The Big Unfriendly Jotun)
- Lann Browsmasher (Drakkar Lake only during the Quest Nornhood)
- Bringer of Destruction (During Primary Quest Genius Operated Living Enchanted Manifestation )
- Heart of Destruction (Glint’s Challenge, in Central Transfer Chamber)
There’s a lot of choice here for Warriors on how to equip their skillbar in Eye of the North. With such a wide range of Elite Skills covering all the attribute groups, there’s something for everyone here, allowing a lot of flexibility when planning your build.
