Elite Skills for the Dervish
![]()
There’s a good spread of Elite Skills for the Dervish in Eye of the North. With at least one skill from every Attribute, there’s something for everyone who’s playing a Dervish.
Earth Prayers
Ebon Dust Aura
For 5…29 seconds, if you are wielding an earth weapon, your attack skills also cause Blindness for 4…9 seconds.
Ebon Dust Aura can be obtained from:
- Brynn Earthporter (Sparkfly Swamp)
Mysticism
Pious Renewal
For 8 seconds, whenever an Enchantment ends on you, you gain 0…2 Energy and 0…8 Health.
Pious Renewal can be obtained from:
- Facet of Spirit (Arbor Bay (Only during The Cipher of Kormir))
Scythe Mastery
Reaper’s Sweep
If this attack hits, you deal +10…34 damage. If your target was below 50% Health, you also inflict a Deep Wound for 5…17 seconds.
Reaper’s Sweep can be obtained from:
- Asterius the Mighty (Varajar Fells)
Wounding Strike
If this attack hits, target foe suffers from Bleeding for 5…17 seconds. If you are under the effects of an enchantment, target foe also suffers from a Deep Wound for 5…17 seconds.
Wounding Strike can be obtained from:
- Taameh the Frigid (Bjora Marches)
- Reaper of Destruction (Raven’s Point)
Wind Prayers
Onslaught
For 5…17 seconds, your attack Skills recharge 25% faster and cost 25% less Energy.
Onslaught can be obtained from:
- Myish, Lady of the Lake (Drakkar Lake)
- Avatar of Destruction (Destruction’s Depths)
I know that the Dervish is often maligned by players – a weaker Warrior and not a useful spell caster. Apart from the coolness factor of running around in a cloak with a scythe, the Dervish can make a very powerful main character, and they should be considered in any party build.
