Protecting your tank with the Deldrimor Shield
Another unique item introduced with the update to the Guild Wars Prophecies end mission update, the Deldrimor shield is a great piece of gear. I’ve been using it on my warrior alt and it looks pretty fantastic.
Head on over to Droknar’s Forge and talk to the Artisan of Spears (crafts Paragon items) or the Artisan of Steel (who crafts Warrior items) to get yours. The Deldrimor Shield comes in four variations, one for each of the attributes they require:
- Command
- Motivation
- Strength
- Tactics
You’ll notice from the attribute list that you can craft versions of the Deldrimor Shield that work with Paragons, so it’s not just a warrior specific item.
The Deldrimor Shield’s stats are pretty decent and provide a welcome boost to any tanking character:
- Armor: 16 (req. 9
) - Received physical damage -5 (Chance: 20%)
- Health +30
